Make the most of your training time!

During the first lesson, you will receive a copy of Edo’s “How to Fly Floats” and a Kenmore Flight Training Reference Packet specific to Kenmore Air’s aircraft and Standard Operating Procedures. The training packet includes all of the information you will need regarding operating policies, aircraft systems and procedures, local traffic flow, and maneuver profiles. |
Prior to your checkride, familiarize yourself with the Areas of Operation specifically listed as Single-Engine-Sea (ASES) tasks in the Commercial Pilot - Airplane - Airman Certification Standards (FAA-S-ACS-7A), This is the document by which your aeronautical knowledge and flying skills will be evaluated for your added-class rating. Even as a private pilot, when flying with us you will be trained to proficiency using Commercial Pilot maneuver standards. Don't fret, we'll get you there! |
Outside of training, Greater Seattle Area locals and aviation enthusiasts alike will appreciate the history of Kenmore Air in our book titled "Success on the Step: Flying with Kenmore Air." by C. Marin Faure. Copies of this book can be found on Amazon, or purchased in our Kenmore gift shop! Please tell Julie, customer service agent extraordinaire, that flight instruction sent you!
